Aransas National Wildlife Refuge

The Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is a must-see if you are looking for a way to unplug from your surroundings. It is a 115,324-acre protected area situated on the southwest side of San Antonio Bay along the Gulf Coast of the U.S. state of Texas. President Franklin D. Roosevelt established the refuge on December 12, 1936, as a refuge and breeding ground for birds and other wildlife.
